Lagos State Government has announced the new date for re-opening worship centres in the state and conditions under which such centres can operate upon resumption of activities.
At a briefing yesterday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu said religious organisations are to re-open from Friday June 19 and Sunday June 21; adding that churches and mosques could hold more than one service.

Sanwo-Olu also said that other regular services and vigils are to be put on hold.
The Governor said that churches and mosques must operate with a crowd capacity not more than 40% translating to not more than five hundred members per service, no matter how large the worship centres may be.
He warned that citizens above sixty-five years of age should stay away from worship centres.
He also noted that children have the ability to move about while in the midst of other worshippers and therefore advised that children below fifteen years, should be excused from service.
